Robert Elbaz - Salesperson
Robert started his career early on at the age of twenty one in the wholesale watch business selling local electronic and jewelry stores throughout all the boroughs of New York and Long Island. This led him to drive through every major and local retail area, learning every location, the businesses, and the real estate on a daily basis. He then tunneled his career to open his own Jewelry stores, with one in Brooklyn and two in Manhattan. After a nice eleven year run, he sold the business and moved to his next endeavor setting his goals on opening up a retail children’s clothing chain called Half Price Kids and later SoBecca Stores, one catering to the discount market and the latter an upscale operation with top brands such as Nike, Adidas, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Diesel, Guess, DKNY, Buffalo, Quicksilver, and Northface, just to name a few. He was the only entrepreneur in the local market able to obtain these brands on an exclusive level. These stores once again brought Mr. Elbaz back to the streets always looking for real estate opportunities and opening stores throughout the boroughs. He continued to grow and search for locations weekly throughout New York, Long Island, and New Jersey again researching every market in detail. Having much success in the retail business, he decided that it’s time for his next phase. Throughout all the years in business he continued to manage and control his family real estate portfolio which began in the 1950’s. With that experience, he has decided to put his efforts to helping others obtain their goal of expansion in retail and with real estate investments.
Since joining S&Z in mid 2018 Robert has brought in several exclusive agencies for S&Z to represent as well as many investors interested in adding to their portfolio. He has been involved in investment sales, closing on several properties, completed several industrial, and many retail deals. In total and in a short period he has completed almost thirty closings including medical, pharmaceutical, QSR’s, entertainment, fashion, beauty, supermarkets, discount operations, mobile stores, and others, some being National company representation, all before his three year anniversary at the company. Mr. Elbaz’s experience is welcome and a shining light to S&Z, we look forward to growth and continued success together.
