Josh Segal
Mr. Segal rejoined the firm in 2008 with nearly 20 years experience in real estate, working in all aspects of the industry throughout New York City’s five boroughs. In addition to commercial sales and leasing assignments, Mr. Segal works within the firm’s retail group and has assumed a proactive role in investigating investment and acquisition opportunities. Prior to rejoining Sholom & Zuckerbrot, Mr. Segal was a managing member and broker with Segal Realty Group, LLC where he handled all operations of the real estate brokerage firm, which specialized in the sale and leasing of industrial, retail and commercial properties, as well as development sites throughout New York City. Previous to that Mr. Segal had his first successful tenure at Sholom & Zuckerbrot. Mr. Segal’s clients have included the Forest City Ratner, Douglaston Development Group, The Lansco Corporation, Marathon Asset Fund, MTA, F & T International, MLC Trading Corp., The Rockefeller Group, The Home Depot, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Jack Resnick & Sons, Safeguard Self Storage, Cendent, Avis Rent-A-Car, Commerce Bank, Rite-Aid and Pizzeria Uno. Mr. Segal is a member of The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) Retail and Economic Development Committees, Young Men’s/Women’s Real Estate Association (YM/WREA), and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Quantitative Analysis from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a Master’s of Science in Construction Management from NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate. |
